Getac B360 and B360 Pro with 5G support and MIL-STD 810H certification launched in India

Both the models come with a touchscreen that easily responds to a finger, pen or glove.

Getac Technology Corporation, the manufacturer of rugged notebooks and tablet PCs for the military, has introduced the new B360 fully rugged Laptop in India. The laptop comes with 5G connectivity offering best-in-class computing speed, brightness, and rugged reliability. The Getac B360 laptop is powered by 10th Generation Intel Core Processor with up to 4.90Ghz maximum turbo frequencies and 12mb Intel Smart Caches.

The laptop is available in two distinct models Getac B360 specifically designed for public safety, manufacturing, and utility sectors while the B360 Pro for the defence sector.

The Getac B360 laptop comes with a touchscreen 13.3 inches LumiBond 2.0 display offering 1,400 nits of brightness for maximum usability in all situations and weather conditions. Being touch-enabled it easily responds to a finger, pen or glove.

B360 is the thinnest and lightest fully rugged laptop with 34.9mm thickness and weighing 2.32kg. It can be carried and operated for extended periods of time without causing user fatigue. Moreover, it comes with an IP66 rating to ensure that it is protected with dust and high-pressure water jets and spillages. It can withstand drops of up to six feet when in operation, while the latest MIL-STD 810H certification gives users complete confidence in its rugged reliability. The laptop is powered by a 10th Generation Intel Core Processor paired with Intel UHD graphics. It comes with an option of up to 6 cores for better CPU performance. The device runs on Windows 10 Pro and comes with dual batteries. With Removable dual user-replaceable storage: PCIe SSD and SATA SSD allows you to minimize downtime and destroy classified data with ease. Remove data as needed knowing all information is safely secured back at headquarters. Moreover, it features multi-factor authentications, including an HF RFID reader, smart card reader and face-authentication via Windows Hello. It comes equipped with Bluetooth 5.1 and Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 and optional 4G LTE and integrated GPS for connectivity. However, an optional dedicated GPS receiver provides superior and accurate location tracking. Versatile I/O ports include a serial port, smart card reader, headphone-out/mic-in combo, an optional 1D/2D barcode reader as well as an optional USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C. Connect various diagnostic instruments in the field for testing, data tracking and synchronization with ease. An additional PowerShare USB allows you to charge other devices even when powered off.

The B360 Pro includes all the core technology specifications of the B360 includes all the core technology specifications of the B360 along with a number of additional features and build options that are vital for military personnel. The high capacity battery provides for extra-long battery life and the optional DVD or Blu-Ray allows for further data transmission, installation and back up. The B360 Pro also includes an additional serial port so that you can connect other equipment as needed.
