Today in India, Dell announced the launch of its XPS 13 (9310) laptop in India. The Dell laptop comes with a refreshed design and is powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processors. As the name suggests the device features a 13-inch display and has carbon fiber deck lids and hardened Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. It also includes Microsoft Cortana and Waves enabled speech technology and select security features of Dell’s Latitude portfolio.
Dell XPS 13 price and availability
Dell XPS 13 with i5 processor has been introduced in India with a price tag of Rs 1,50,990 via Amazon and at select Dell Exclusive Stores in India. This variant will be available in two colour options of Platinum Silver with Black Carbon Fiber palm rest and Frost with arctic white woven glass fiber palm rest.
The company is yet to reveal the price as well as availability details of the i7 variant but according to the company, this model will be available in January 2021.
Dell XPS 13 technical specifications
The Dell laptop features a 13.4-inch Full HD display offering a 16:10 display ratio with 100% sRGB color gamut reproduction and 500-nits of brightness, and up to 4K+ resolution screen.
The Dell XPS 13 is powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. The device is optimised with Intel Evo for better speed and performance. The Dell XPS 13 will be offered in two models- core i5 and core i7. The Dell XPS 13 i5 variant offers a clock speed of 2.7 GHz paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD.
In addition to this, it comes integrated with Windows Hello and Far-field Cortana that responds to the user’s voice from up to 14 feet away as it equips built-in mics. The device also carries a 52 Watt-Hours Lithium-ion battery. Also, the premium materials such as aluminum, carbon fibre, woven glass fibre and hardened Corning Gorilla Glass have been used to build the laptop.
While announcing the launch of Dell XPS 13 laptop the company said, “On a planet with almost 8 billion people, every action we take makes an impact. Dell has set a goal of using 100% sustainable packaging by 2030, made from recycled or renewable material. We have eliminated foam and single-use plastic bags with the new XPS family, getting us a step closer to that Moonshot Goal. Customers can toss the entire XPS box in the recycling bin without thinking twice as it contains recycled ocean-bound plastics, locally recycled plastic, sustainable materials and recycled corrugate.”
