Finally, the FAU-G mobile game has officially made it to the Google Play store. Although the game has not been launched but it is now up for pre-registration on the Play Store. Whereas the pre-registration on the App Store for iOS has not yet begun. Seems like the Bengaluru-based nCore Games also the developers of FAU-G will confine the much-hyped mobile game to the Android platform only. To recall the game was announced a few days after the ban of PUBG Mobile in India and until now there is no concrete timeline given for the launch. Also, it is widely being promoted by Indian game industry veteran Vishal Gondal and actor Akshay Kumar.

FAU-G is short for Fearless and United-Guards and is touted to be a contribution towards the “Atma Nirbhar Bharat” (self-reliant India) campaign by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  After a long delay, the mobile game has now been put up on the Google Play store for pre-registration. So those who have pre-registered will receive a notification as soon as the game is available for download on the platform. FAU-G is a part of a made in India project from nCore Games that pays tribute to the heroes of our nation’s armed forces. Based on real-world scenarios, FAU-G brings to life the thrill and adrenaline of a life spent guarding India’s borders.

The FAU-G mobile game is set up on the high peaks of the Indian northern border Galwan Valley which is also a controversial flashpoint between China and India where an elite fighting group protects the nation’s pride and sovereignty. The players can join a special unit of FAU-G commandos on patrol in dangerous border territory. They will also have a face-off with India’s enemies while they engage with hostile invaders on Indian soil.

The players will fight for survival against the unforgiving terrain and the implacable enemy. “Fill the shoes of a patriotic soldier and experience the bravery, brotherhood, and sacrifice of the men guarding the country’s borders,” the description said.

Following the Galwan Valley skirmish on 15 June the Government of India decided to put a ban on hundreds of Chinese apps in the country including PUBG Mobile as well as TikTok. But after being banned for over 4 months in India the PUBG Mobile will soon make its comeback in India. There is no update on when the royale game will be launched but speculations state that it might release by next month that is December. So both the royal games will go head-to-head in an effort to capture the Indian market.
