Garmin Tacx Boost Indoor Trainer for cyclists launched in India

The device is now available for sale in the country.

In order to make cycling experiences more intense, Garmin India has announced the debut of the Garmin TACX BOOST, a powerful indoor training device that gives riders a genuine ride-feel and is suited for year-round training. It is a powerful indoor trainer with a magnetic brake, realistic ride-feel, and manual resistance adjustment.

Speaking on the launch of Tacx Boost in India, Mr. Ali Rizvi, Director, Garmin India, said, “Garmin always thrives to enhance user experiences with quality and world-class technology. The Tacx Boost is designed and developed by the in-house R&D team to cater to the needs of cyclists of all levels and support them in enhancing their performances. It is further laden with advanced features and multiple applications that make it the most trusted partner while training”.

As previously said, the Garmin TACX BOOST allows cyclists to do their ride anywhere they choose, and due to the rising number of COVID cases, one does not need to compromise on their practice because they can do it at home. It allows riders to use a strong magnetic brake to increase or decrease resistance. Also, riders can manually manage the resistance with 10 levels and up to 1,050 watts using a lever attached to the handlebar.

The indoor training device’s flywheel replicates a genuine pedal stroke, while the closed resistance unit reduces noise, allowing bikers to ride anywhere without being seen. Cycling programmes such as Tacx Training, Zwift, and TrainerRoad allow riders to measure their pace, distance, and virtual power using speed sensors that are sold separately.

The Tacx Boost is really simple to set up. Everything simply took two easy clicks for the riders to get it going. The front-wheel support not only ensures a comfortable pedalling position but also functions as a handle for carrying the trainer.

Garmin TACX BOOST price and availability details

The Tacx Boost Indoor Trainer has a speed sensor and costs INR 29,990 in a package version. This workout machine will be available for purchase via Pro bikers (Chennai), Cyclofit (Bombay), The Bike Shop (Gurgaon), Mastermind (Bombay) and Rajesh Cycles (New Delhi).
