The changed look is currently limited to only a limited number of users but it will be rolled out on a global scale in the coming weeks. Although Google is changing its look for the mobile devices but it hasn’t mentioned if the new design will be brought to the desktop version of the website as well.

Google revealed the new design and the information about it through a blog post. Talking about the changes made to Google’s mobile design, the new design will make the name of the website and the icons appear on the top of the result card. This will be followed by the page title and the description of the page. Earlier, the title of the page would appear at the top of the search results and it was followed by the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) of the page/ website name, which in turn was followed by the description of the page.

Earlier the search results which showed the ads was labeled in green. But now, in the new redesigned Google for mobile devices, the advertisements will be accompanied with a bold ad label and it will show up in the place of the website icon on the ads.
