Whereas it will hit the stores including Target, Best Buy and more in 21 countries starting October 15. Google Nest Audio features
Google Nest Audio is a follow up of Nest Mini that was launched last year. The latest variant of the Nest comes integrated with a dedicated machine learning chip with up to one TeraOPS of processing power to learn your most common music commands and responds two times faster than the original Google Home. Other than entertainment this is compatible with other smart home brands like Philips Hue, TP-Link|KASA and more. As it works on your voice command you can ask Nest to play music from YouTube Music or Spotify Premium with the help of Google Assistant just say, “Hey Google, recommend some music”.
In terms of design, Google Nest has a slimmer profile and is made from 70 percent recycled plastic. It equips a 75mm woofer, a 19mm tweeter, 3 far-field microphones and a 2-stage mic mute switch. The smart speaker is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.8GHz and can be connected through Bluetooth v5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
“Nest Audio’s sound is full, clear and natural. We completed more than 500 hours of tuning to ensure balanced lows, mids and highs so nothing is lacking or overbearing. The bass is significant and the vocals have depth, which makes Nest Audio sound great across genres: classical, R&B, pop and more. The custom-designed tweeter allows each musical detail to come through, and we optimized the grill, fabric and materials so that you can enjoy the audio without distortion.” the company said.
It features Media EQ that enables Nest Audio to automatically tune itself to music, podcasts, audiobooks or even a response from Google Assistant. While the Ambient IQ allows it to adjust the volume of Assistant, news, podcasts and audiobooks based on the background noise in your home, so you can hear the weather forecast over a noisy dishwasher.
