A Google Tensor G4 chip powers the device and comes with Google AI features like Gemini AI, Circle to Search, and advanced computational photography. Google Pixel 9a Price in India and Sale Details
The price of the Pixel 9a is set at Rs 49,999 for the single 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The phone is being offered in Iris, Obsidian, Peony, and Porcelain colour options. Exclusive launch offers include a Rs 3,000 cashback and 24-month no-cost EMI with select banking partners including HDFC Bank, IDFC Bank and Bajaj Finserv.
The device is scheduled to go on sale next month which is in April.

The Google Pixel 9a comes with a revamped design, featuring a sleek flat profile, rounded edges and changed camera module. The device features upgraded IP68 water and dust resistance, making it the most durable A-series phone to date. It features a 6.3-inch Actua display with 1.080×2,424 pixels of resolution. The panel is said to be 35% brighter than Pixel 8a at 2700 nits and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The screen comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Under its hood, there is a Google Tensor G4 chip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is a Titan M2 security coprocessor as well. The Pixel 9a comes pre-installed with Android 15 and is promised to receive seven years of OS and security updates.
Additionally, the Pixel 9a features Gemini, a personal AI assistant for Google apps like Maps, Calendar, and YouTube, with conversational features and upcoming video and screen-sharing capabilities with Gemini Advanced.
The AI-powered phone also offers Circle to Search and Pixel Studio, along with high-security features like Car Crash Detection, Theft Detection, and Live Location Sharing via Find My Device.
The Pixel 9a is a child-friendly first phone with simplified onboarding, Google Family Link integration, screen time controls, app usage insights, and School Time, which restricts phone functionality during school hours.
The Pixel 9a’s dual rear camera system, featuring a 13MP ultrawide lens and a 48MP main camera, offers high-quality photos and videos, with Macro Focus enabling detailed close-up shots for the first time on an A-series device. For selfies, there is a 13MP front-facing camera.
It comes with AI-powered computational photography features, including Add Me, Best Take, Magic Editor with Auto Frame, and Reimagine in Magic Editor. Other camera features include Magic Eraser, Audio Magic Eraser, Night Sight, Astrophotography, and Panorama with Night Sight.
The rear camera can record at 4K/60fps with 5x digital zoom, while the selfie camera supports video recording at 4K/30fps.

The Pixel 9a offers various connectivity options including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, NavIC, and USB 3.2 Type-C port, along with stereo speakers, two microphones, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, and proximity.
There is a 5,100mAh battery that supports fast charging at 23W and 7.5W wireless (Qi) charging. According to the company the device is said to deliver over 30 hours of battery life and over 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver.
