HMD Global has announced the launch of its new Nokia smartphone in the Indian market. The company has introduced an entry-level phone Nokia C20 Plus. The budget smartphone runs on Android 11 (Go edition) and is powered by octa-core Unisoc SC9863a SoC. There is a dual camera set up on the back and it also packs a 4,950mAh battery.

Nokia C20 Plus has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 8,999 for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage option. The device is available in 3GB RAM with 32GB of storage variant that is priced at Rs 9,999. The phone will come in two colour options of Blue and Grey.
The launch offers include a 10% or Rs 1,000 discount and users get access to benefits worth Rs 4,000, as a part of the JioExclusive Program ahead of the festive season. The phone is now available for sale via the Nokia India website, leading mobile retailers, Reliance Digital, and Jio Point outlets in the country.

Coming to the specifications Nokia C20 Plus features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720×1,600 pixels of resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Android 11 (Go edition). Under the hood, there is an octa-core Unisoc SC9863a SoC paired with up to up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded up to 25GB using a microSD card.
In terms of optics, Nokia C20 Plus comes with a dual rear camera setup housed inside a circular module that includes an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
On the connectivity front, Nokia C20 Plus includes G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. While the sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor. The phone is backed by a 4,950mAh battery that comes with 10W charging support. It is touted to offer up to 2 days of battery life on a single charge.
