Prior to the launch, the company already announced last week that it will be launching the smartphone in India on June 11. Today, Honor has announced that it has partnered with e-commerce website Flipkart for the launch of its Honor 20 smartphones.

Speaking about the tie-up between the two companies, Mr Suhail Tariq, CMO, Honor India said, “We are happy to announce our partnership with Flipkart, India’s largest e-commerce portal for our upcoming HONOR 20 series. The Honor 20 smartphone is leaked to sport a quad camera setup that will be comprised of a 48MP primary sensor that will come with a ‘4-in-1 Light Fusion’ system. We should mention that the camera is said to be 1/2-inch in size and it will have an f/1.8 aperture. The camera module is tipped to have a 16MP wide-angle sensor that will have a field of view of 117 degrees. A 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens are also said to be present on the handset.

Speaking of Honor 20 Pro, the smartphone is expected to have a better camera module than its younger sibling. The quad-camera setup will have a 48MP primary sensor and a 16MP wide-angle sensor. However, the primary camera of the smartphone will come with OIS and will have an f/1.4 aperture. It is also said to come with an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, OIS and an f/2.4 aperture. A 2MP macro-lens will also be present on the smartphone.
