HP has announced the availability of pre-orders for its next-generation AI PCs in India, the HP EliteBook Ultra and HP OmniBook X. The EliteBook Ultra is geared at businesses, public sector organisations, and government departments, whereas the OmniBook X is intended for retail customers, producers, and freelancers. These AI PCs can be reserved through HP partners or the web store.

The HP EliteBook Ultra and HP OmniBook X are based on the newest ARM architecture. They are powered by the Snapdragon X Elite CPU, with 12 cores clocked at 3.4GHz, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB NVMe SSD storage. It features a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). The HP AI Companion, which is first accessible on these next-generation AI PCs, leverages AI to optimise performance and provide sophisticated AI tools to the device. Both the laptops feature a 14-inch 2.2K IPS display, with 300 nits peak brightness.
As per the company the laptops are designed for on-the-go professionals and freelancers, with the thinnest design in their class and up to 26 hours of battery life.

HP EliteBook Ultra is powered by a 3-cell, 59 Wh Li-ion polymer battery that supports 65W rapid charging via USB Type-C. It also has a 5-megapixel IR camera, Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility, and twin stereo speakers with Poly Studio audio. The OmniBook X AI PC is intended for retail users, including producers and freelancers, and has AI functions such as Spotlight and Auto Framing.
The EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X, have the new Poly Camera Pro, which improves virtual interactions with AI features such as Spotlight and Auto Framing, resulting in efficient performance and longer battery life. As AI advances, reliable security measures for AI PCs become increasingly important. EliteBook Ultra has Wolf Pro Security Next Gen Antivirus (NGAV), which protects against developing threats through machine learning. As a Microsoft Secured-Core PC, it provides strong hardware security while protecting user data and credentials.
Both laptops also include a dedicated Copilot key, which provides rapid access to Microsoft’s AI chatbot. Wolf Pro Security Next Gen Antivirus is incorporated, and it employs machine learning to defend users from attacks.

HP EliteBook Ultra and HP OmniBook X Pre-booking details
The HP EliteBook Ultra is priced at Rs 1,69,934. Customers can reserve the Elitebook Ultra either through HP partners or through the HP Online Store. Whereas, the HP OmniBook X will be available at Rs 1,39,999. Customers may pre-order the OmniBook X through HP World shops, HP Online, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales.
