Sennheiser HD 400 PRO Studio headphones have launched in the Indian market today. These are professional headphones meant to be used as monitors for mixing, editing, and mastering. The earphones are ideal for creators looking for natural and precise sound reproduction when evaluating their audio mixes.

Sennheiser HD 400 PRO Studio headphones have a comfortable and lightweight open-back design with soft velour ear pads to help with long sessions. The headphones come with both coiled and straight detachable cables, allowing them to be customised to the user’s preferences. The headphones offer a wide frequency response of 6 to 38,000 hertz.

Sennheiser’s 120-ohm transducers feature a diaphragm made of a special polymer blend, which, when combined with powerful driver magnets, produces a deeper, yet completely clear and well-defined bass. While the distortion is less than 0.05 percent (measured at 1 kHz, 90 dB SPL).

According to the company the HD 400 PRO faithfully reproduces audio beyond the audible frequency range, allowing you unrestricted access to nuanced harmonics and ambience in your music while revealing a bold, articulate low-end. The headphone transducers are set at a slight angle, meticulously recreating the ideal triangular listening position when listening to monitor loudspeakers in a recording studio. Furthermore, the HD 400 PRO’s open-back design allows for natural sound propagation without the need for acoustic structures that are required in closed-back designs. Both aspects contribute to a wide and spacious soundstage that is neutral and transparent, allowing audio producers to work with confidence knowing that their final mix will be heard correctly.
