HP has expanded its OMEN line of laptops with the addition of the AI-enhanced OMEN Transcend 14 laptop series in India. It is the first to come equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for better AI-based video features. Additionally, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 has been incorporated for graphics for AI-enhanced gameplay. The latest laptop features a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 48-120 Hz variable refresh rate.

HP OMEN Transcend 14 laptop series price in India, availability
The HP Omen Transcend 14 has been introduced in India at a starting price of Rs 1,74,999 inclusive of all-rounder HyperX premium bag worth Rs 7,787. The company will also provide a free HyperX mouse and headset on the purchase of the laptop. The machine can be purchased via HP World Stores and HP Online stores in the country.

HP OMEN Transcend 14 laptop series is AI-backed and designed for gaming and content creation. The device is stuffed with Intel Core Ultra processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics, that powers AI features for accelerated gameplay experience and enhanced graphics. According to the company the machine can handle the latest games or compute-intensive tasks.
The 14-inch 2.8K OLED display on the HP OMEN Transcend 14 laptop has a variable refresh rate of 48-120 Hz. Depending on the content and power mode, OMEN Gaming Hub’s Auto Dynamic Refresh Rate (DRR) dynamically switches between multiple refresh rates, which can extend battery life by up to 7%. In ECO mode, extend the battery life by up to 20%.
It has built-in artificial intelligence (AI) with Otter.ai for functions including real-time captioning and live transcripts during meetings or classes, an audio transcription option for recording, and notes created by AI.
The NPU can boost gameplay and streaming by up to 24.6% in frames per second (FPS) for gamers and streamers. The Omen Transcend 14 is also HP’s lightest gaming laptop weighing just 1.6 kg. Since this is the company’s first lattice-less keyboard, the keycaps are edge-to-edge. The keycaps are based on HyperX’s mechanical keyboard pudding caps, though, and each key has a bright, flashing border.
The laptop comes with up to 11.5 hours of battery life and a type-C PD 140W adapter for fast charging. A USB-C port is in the rear along with an HDMI 2.1 output. There is also a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port and two USB-A ports.
