The Chinese electronics giant, Huawei, has announced the launch of its new Nova smartphone series. The new series would include Huawei Nova 7, Nova 7 Pro and Nova 7 SE smartphones that will be currently available in the Chinese market. All the devices come with 5G connectivity, dual selfie camera, a 64megapixel primary sensor and a 40W fast charging support. Read on to know more details about smartphones.
Starting with the topmost model of the series Huawei Nova Pro comes with a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display with a dual hole punch design and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. It is powered by octa-core Kirin 985 SoC with Mali G77 and will run on EMUI 10.1 on top of Android 10. It will be offered in two RAM and storage options 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
For optics, there is a quad rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and another 8-megapixel periscope lens along with a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, there is a dual selfie camera set up that includes a 32-megapixel primary sensor and an 8megapixel secondary sensor. The device packs a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The 8GB/128GB model will be available at CNY 3,700 (Rs 39,791 approx) and the 8GB/256GB can be purchased at CNY 4,100 that translates to Rs 44,093. Huawei Nova Pro comes in black, purple, green, red, and silver colour options and is up for pre-orders in China and the will go on sale from April 28.
Next is Huawei Nova 7 comes with a smaller screen size of 6.53-inch OLED display with a punch-hole design offering 2400 x 1080 pixels of resolution and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. It also equips the same processor with 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB RAM and storage options.
In the imaging department, Nova 7 also sports a similar camera set up but has a single front camera of 32 megapixels for taking selfies. Rest battery and software details are also the same as the Pro model.
The 8GB/128GB base model will be available at CNY 3,000 (Rs 32,196 approx) whereas 8GB/256GB variant will be available with a price tag of CNY 3,400 (Rs 36,489 approx). The handset will be available in five colour options Silver, Red, Purple, Black, and Green.
Last but not the least is the Huawei Nova 7 SE which is the stripped-down version of Nova 7. It comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole design. It is powered by Kirin 820 SoC with 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB RAM and storage options. This handset also features a quad rear camera set up that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel macro, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it sports a 16megapixel camera sensor on the front. Also, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Nova 7 SE has been priced at CNY 2,400 (Rs 25,832 approx) for the 8GB/128GB model and the 8GB/256GB RAM and storage option can be purchased at CNY 2,800 (Rs 29,9955 approx). The availability details remain the same as the other two devices.
