Chinese smartphone brand Huawei has today launched its flagship P30 Pro smartphone along with a watered down P30 handset in India. Huawei P30 Pro is touted to come with an enhanced camera and zoom capabilities and it was launched globally in Paris last month.
The smartphone packs a number of powerful specifications including a 4,200mAh battery, reverse wireless charging, and the most powerful processor by Huawei. Here’s a look at its pricing details and availability in India:
Huawei P30 Pro, P30 Lite price in India
Huawei P30 Pro is available in India in only one variant that comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The handset is priced at Rs 71,990 and can be picked up from Amazon India and Croma outlets. The company is offering early birds an exclusive bundle with the Huawei Watch GT for Rs 2,000 more. Customers will also get comprehensive screen insurance lasting 6 months, which will start on April 15 and be valid until September 21, 2019. A cashback of 5% is also available between April 15 and April 17. The device is available in Breathing Crystal and Aurora colours.
Huawei has partnered with Reliance Jio for launch offers for the P30 Pro. Bundled with Jio, consumers can avail of a cashback of Rs 2200 and ‘Double Data’ recharge for first 5 recharges. In addition to this, consumers can avail benefits worth Rs 7,800 (Can include Make My Trip Coupons worth Rs 5,600 and Zoom Car Voucher worth Rs 2,200) on the Huawei P30 Pro. The moment a customer performs a recharge of Rs 198/299, 44 vouchers of Rs 50 each will be credited to the customers MyJio account.
Coming to Huawei 30 Lite, it will be available on Amazon India starting April 25 for Prime members and rest everyone will be able to buy it April 26 onwards. The device is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants that cost Rs 19,990 and Rs 22,990 respectively. Customers can choose from Midnight Black and Peacock Blue colours.
Huawei P30 Pro specifications
Huawei P30 Pro smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie skinned with the company’s own EMUI 9.1. The smartphone is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 980 SoC clubbed with 8GB of RAM and is available in three storage options – 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. Huawei P30 Pro sports a 6.47-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) OLED display and comes with curved edges and a waterdrop-shaped notch.
On the camera front, Huawei P30 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup on its back panel that comprises of a 40MP primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and f/1.6 aperture, a 20MP wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and OIS, an 8MP camera that is equipped with a periscope style zoom system and a ToF sensor. The camera app of the device comes with support for HDR+ mode, 5X optical zoom, 10X hybrid zoom and 50X digital zoom.
For selfies and video calls, Huawei P30 Pro smartphone features a 32MP sensor that has support for AI HDR+. The handset houses a 4,200mAh battery and has support for reverse wireless charging which, as the name suggests, enables it to wirelessly charge devices that support Qi wireless charging.
Huawei P30 Lite specifications
Speaking of Huawei P30 Lite, it comes with a 6.15-inch DewDrop display that comes with an aspect ratio of 19.3:9 and a screen to body ratio of 84.1%. The device houses a 32MP selfie camera that is touted to come with beautification mode and AI enhancements. On the back, there is a triple rear camera setup with 24MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP Bokeh lens.
Huawei P30 Lite is powered by the company’s Hisilicon Kirin 710 platform and is available with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
