IFA 2020: JBL launched a line-up of new Bluetooth speakers and headphones

The company has launched two mini and two big sized portable speakers

Audio accessories manufacturer JBL has unveiled a series of new Bluetooth audio devices in the speakers and headphone category. The company has launched JBL Club Pro+, JBL 225TWS and the JBL Endurance Peak II truly wireless earbuds, and Quantum 50 wired headphones. In addition to this, Xtreme 3 rugged speaker, the PartyBox On-The-Go and PartyBox 310 speaker Go 3 and Clip 4 compact speaker have also made it to the ongoing IFA 2020 tech event at Berlin.

Starting with the JBL Club Pro+ wireless earphones, this wearable carries a price tag of $199.95 (approx Rs. 14,700). The audio device comes with an independent left/right connection supported by active noise cancellation. These earphones are also supported by wireless charging along with a USB Type-C port for wired charging. The new JBL earphones are IPX4 rated for water resistance and these come with touch controls supported by voice assistance by Google.

Whereas JBL Endurance Peak II earbuds have been priced at $99.95 (approx Rs. 7,300). This audio device is very similar to the above one in terms of features, but it comes with wraparound ear hooks for better fitting which does not let it fall during workouts. The earphones are IPX7 water resistance rated and deliver 30 hours of playback.

JBL Endurance Peak II

Both JBL Club Pro+ and JBL Endurance Peak II earbuds will be available starting October 25 via JBL.com.

The new JBL Quantum 50 are wired earphones that include 8.6mm drivers and a microphone. It has been priced at $29.95 (approx Rs. 2,200) and is now up for sale via the company’s official store.

In addition to this, the company has also launched a bunch of more hearables such as JBL 225TWS earbuds, JBL Live Free NC+ earbuds and Reflect Mini TWS earbuds.

JBL Xtreme

At the IFA 2020, the company has also unveiled its new range of Bluetooth speakers. The JBL Xtreme comes with a barrel-shaped design that offers 12 hours of battery life. This has four drivers along with two JBL bass radiators and is supported by Bluetooth v5.1 for connectivity. It allows you to connect two devices at the same time.  The speaker can be charged with the use of a USB Type-C power adapter. The device will be available in three colour options Blue, Black and Squad and is scheduled to go on sale next month priced at $349.95 (approx Rs. 25,700).

JBL Go 3 mini speaker

The JBL Go 3 mini speaker is compact yet more portable than the above one, as it is small and easy to carry. This comes with up to five hours of playback on a single charge. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity, USB Type-C port. The speaker is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance priced at $39.95 (approx Rs. 2,900).

JBL Clip 4 speaker

Alongside the mini speaker, the company has also launched a lock shaped JBL Clip 4 speaker which offers 10 hours of battery life. The device is also IP67 certified and can be charged with the help of a USB Type-C charger. Priced at $69.95 (approx Rs. 5,100) the portable speaker will be available by November this year.

JBL PartyBox On-The-Go

The music lovers company has launched two big speakers also namely JBL PartyBox On-The-Go and JBL PartyBox 310. The former one comes with a sound output of 100W which can last up to 6 hours on a single charge and is bundled with a wireless mic with a shoulder strap. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth and other inputs for guitar, mic USB and AUX. The company will be making it available this month only at $299.95 (roughly Rs. 22,000).

JBL PartyBox 310

Last but not least JBL PartyBox 310 is another big sized speaker that comes with glide wheels along with a pull-out handle for portability. The connectivity options are the same as above. This speaker delivers a sound output of 240W. It can last up to 18 hours and is IPX4 rated for dust and water resistance. The speaker will be available from this month at  $499.95 (roughly Rs. 36,700).

  1. For the people who are connected but hear no sound, you have to go to “system preferences”, click on the “Sound” Icon and go to output and double tap on your Bluetooth device (NAME). You guys should hear sound coming from your device now!
