Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo today expanded its iQoo 9 Series in India with the launch of a new smartphone. The company has introduced iQoo 9T 5G which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The device features a 120Hz refresh rate display and Vivo V1+ imaging chip with a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN5 main sensor.

The starting price for the iQoo 9T 5G in India is Rs 49,999 for the model with 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. A 12GB RAM with 256GB storage edition of the phone is also available for Rs 59,999. It is currently for sale on Amazon and the business website and comes in the Alpha and Legend colour options.

The iQoo 9T 5G’s 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED screen has a full-HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits, and compatibility for HDR10+. Additionally, for smooth gameplay, the screen supports motion estimation motion compensation (MEMC) and complete P3 colour gamut coverage. The smartphone’s operating system, Android 12.1, is covered with the Funtouch OS 12.1 skin. Both the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and the Vivo V1+ imaging chip are present. iQoo has also added a liquid cooling vapour chamber with a 3,930mm square total heat dissipation surface for enhanced thermal control when gaming. It has up to 256GB of inbuilt UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
A 50-megapixel GN5 primary sensor with OIS, a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel portrait sensor with 20x optical zoom are all part of the triple-back camera system on this smartphone. The front of the device has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
A 4,700mAh battery that supports 120W fast cable charging is included in the iQoo 9T 5G. The iQoo 9T 5G offers 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, OTG, NFC, GPS, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone port as connectivity options. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. For authentication, a fingerprint sensor is also integrated into the display.
