JioBook is now available for purchase via Reliance Digital’s website at Rs 15,799

The JioBook can now be purchased by Indian customers on the Reliance Digital website. The first laptop from Reliance Jio was unveiled at the India Mobile Congress earlier this month and was accessible via an online government portal. The Snapdragon 665 Processor, which is based on ARM technology, powers the laptop. Additionally, the laptop has a built-in 4G SIM for fast connectivity.

JioBook price in India, sale details

Reliance’s JioBook is now available at a starting price of Rs 15,799 via Reliance Digital’s online store in the country.

To recall, the JioBook was first listed at the government e-marketplace for Rs 19,500. At that time end users were not able to purchase the laptop, though resellers can order one unit as the minimum consignment quantity. Reliance Digital, meanwhile, has introduced the Jio laptop at a significantly reduced price in India.

In addition, clients purchasing laptops can get a 10% instant discount with credit cards from Axis, Kotak, ICICI, HDFC, AU, INDUSIND, DBS, Yes, and other major banks.

JioBook specifications

The JioBook’s construction is characterised as having a metallic hinge system and an ABS plastic chassis body. The JioBook will have an 11.6-inch HD display with a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. The industry standard 60Hz refresh rate would be the only option for the refresh rate.

The JioBook is powered by an Adreno 610 GPU and Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. It comes preloaded with 2GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of extendable eMMC storage. Customers have the choice to add more storage by using a microSD card slot. A 4G micro-SIM card slot will also be available for connectivity. The gadget is powered by JioOS, which is thought to be a Microsoft Windows clone created particularly for Jio laptops in India.

It contains ports for USB-A 3.0, HDMI, USB-A 2.0, Wi-Fi ac, and Bluetooth 5.0. It contains a 55.1–60 AH battery that should last up to eight hours on a single charge. The gadget also includes an HD webcam for video conferencing and a touchpad with multi-touch gestures.
