With a prize fund of Rs 2 crore, Krafton India announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 esports tournament in the country. On April 4, the event will kick off with “The Grind,” in which invited teams will square off to guarantee a spot in the competition. Krafton India has officially announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024. The company has also started accepting registrations for the biggest battle royale Esports event BGIS 2024. Thousands of teams will compete in BGIS 2024 with a prize fund of INR 2 crore. BGIS 2024 is said to provide a competitive arena where both professional and amateur gamers may display and develop their abilities.
Commenting on the tournament Karan Pathak, Associate Director, KRAFTON, India said “We are thrilled to announce the new edition of BGIS. At KRAFTON India, we are dedicated to providing platforms where both amateur and professional Esports talent across India can shine, evolve their skills, and make their mark. With BGIS 2024, we are not just hosting another Esports event; we aim to nurture a burgeoning gaming ecosystem and invite players to be part of something truly groundbreaking.”
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 registrations
On April 4th, BGIS 2024 begins with The Grind, an intense competition wherein selected teams will battle it out for a spot in the competition. Fans may watch The Grind every day at 4 PM IST on the KRAFTON INDIA ESPORTS YouTube channel beginning on April 4.

Interested individuals must fill out the form by entering details like their birthdate, in-game ID, and teammates’ names, among other details. Squads will only be permitted to participate in BGIS 2024 if they meet all eligibility requirements. To compete in BGIS 2024, interested parties must be 16 years of age or older at the time of registration. Note that Only teams with entire squads (a minimum of four players) and the correct information supplied will be able to compete.
After completing the form with the required information, click “Submit.” After that, the participant will see a notification stating that the registration was successful. Additionally, an email verifying their registration will be sent to the participants.

Additionally, Krafton India is introducing the KRAFTON India Esports website for the first time. This dedicated website will act as the main information source for BGIS 2024 and future competitions. It will also enable third-party organisers to apply to host tournaments, creating the possibility of a more active Esports industry.
