Krafton confirmed: Will relaunch PUBG Mobile India as Battlegrounds Mobile India soon

There is a lot of confusion over the launch date but the game is expected to launch as early as by next month

Yes, after teasing it for a long time Krafton today officially announced the arrival of Battlegrounds Mobile India. The much-awaited PUBG Mobile India will be relaunched in the country with new branding along with a new game experience and in game-event. The developers have officially confirmed that the new battle royal game will be available as a free-to-play experience on mobile devices. 

Krafton, the South Korean video game developer, today revealed the Battlegrounds Mobile India game teaser. The company promises to offer a world-class AAA multiplayer gaming experience on mobile. According to the company, the game will bring exclusive in-game events like outfits and features and will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues.

Before the launch, the new battle royal game will be available for pre-registration in the country. It should be noted that the game will be exclusively available to India. In addition to this, the game developer aims to collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India specific in-game events at launch, to be announced later.

To recall, PUBG Mobile was banned by the Indian Government along with 117 other mobile apps over privacy concerns. The logo of the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India aka PUBG Mobile India features a tri-colour theme to draw the attention of Indian gamers. 

In order to re-enter the Indian market, the PUBG Corporation and parent company Krafton have made several attempts along with the changes in the game to convince the government. The company might not have revealed the actual timeline for the launch but according to a YouTuber Maxtern, Battlegrounds Mobile India, is likely to debut in India later this month or by next month.

Apart from all this, the company has also well taken care of privacy and security. The company assures that that the data collection and data collection and storage will be in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and for players in the country.

Krafton stated, “With privacy and data security being a top priority, Krafton will be working with partners, to ensure data protection and security, at each stage. This will ensure privacy rights are respected, and all data collection and storage will be in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and for players here.”

Citing information from the official website the company will not knowingly collect, use or share any personal information for those who are under 18 years of age without verifiable parental consent or as permitted by law. In addition to this, the underaged players will be asked to provide the mobile phone number of their parent or guardian to confirm that they are legally eligible to play the game. Also under 18 users will only be able to access or play the maximum of 3 hours a day and the maximum daily amount of using our paid service will be 7,000 INR.

The exact launch date of the games is not confined as yet, however, insiders have told Gadget Bridge, that it will launch in the next couple of weeks.
