Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Debuts With 120Hz Display and Dimensity 7060

Slim profile, fast performance, and a clean Android 15 experience in an affordable package.

Lava’s latest budget challenger, the Blaze AMOLED 2, is here to make life harder for rivals in the sub-₹15,000 smartphone space. With a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chip, and ultra-slim 7.55mm body, it’s clearly aiming to win both on looks and performance. The launch price is ₹13,499, and sales begin August 16 exclusively on Amazon and Lava retail outlets.

A Display That Punches Above Its Price

The Blaze AMOLED 2’s 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel brings deeper blacks, punchier colours, and sharper contrast compared to LCD rivals. The 120Hz refresh rate keeps animations and scrolling fluid, whether you’re gaming, streaming, or just doomscrolling through social feeds. Available in Midnight Black and Feather White, the phone is also the slimmest in its segment, measuring just 7.55mm.

Power Under the Hood

At its core, the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 delivers serious muscle. With an AnTuTu score topping 500,000, it’s built to handle heavy apps, multitasking, and gaming without breaking a sweat. The phone ships with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and supports another 6GB of virtual RAM, ensuring smoother task-switching. Storage gets the speedy UFS 3.1 treatment at 128GB, cutting down load times for apps, games, and media.

Camera Setup for Everyday Creators

Lava has gone with a 50MP Sony IMX752 sensor for the main camera, promising sharp, vibrant shots even in low light. Selfie lovers get an 8MP front camera that keeps skin tones natural while delivering social media–ready images.

Battery, Charging, and Software

A 5000mAh battery keeps the Blaze AMOLED 2 going for a full day, even with heavy use. When it’s time to recharge, 33W fast charging via USB Type-C gets you back in action quickly. The device ships with stock Android 15—no bloatware, no ads—plus a promise of one major Android OS upgrade and two years of security updates.

Added Perks

Lava is offering its Free Service@Home program with this phone, providing doorstep support across India. The Blaze AMOLED 2 also carries IP64 dust and water resistance and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Pricing and Availability

The Blaze AMOLED 2 will sell at ₹13,499, with sales kicking off on August 16 on Amazon and through Lava’s offline network.

In a market drowning in oversized specs sheets with hidden compromises, the Blaze AMOLED 2 stands out for giving clean software, solid hardware, and an attractive price. If you’ve been waiting for a slim, AMOLED-equipped phone under ₹15K, this one is worth a close look.
