The South Korean company LG Electronics today announced the launch of new true wireless earbuds in the market. The company has introduced LG Tone Free DFP8W TWS earbuds which features a UVnano charging case that is helpful in eliminating 99.9 percent of E. coli and S. aureus bacteria that gets deposited on the speaker membranes in just five minutes. Additionally, the earphones come with active noise cancellation (ANC) and delivers 24 hours of battery life.

LG Tone Free DFP8W TWS earbuds have been launched with a price tag of EUR 179 that translates to Rs 15,900. The true wireless stereo earbuds have been introduced in Germany and are currently listed on the LG Germany site. The device will be available in three colour options of Charcoal Black, Haze Gold, and Pearl White.

LG Tone Free DFP8W TWS earbuds come with comfortable, medical-grade attachments. These are made from non-toxic, hypoallergenic silicone. The earbuds have a shorter shaft and come with a design that is said to adapt to the shape of the face, protrudes less and offers more tactile control. It equips 8mm dynamic drivers, along with three pairs of digital MEMS microphones (2 pairs for calls, 1 pair for ANC) with noise reduction and echo cancellation.
The LG Tone Free DFP8W TWS has a whisper mode that allows you to whisper on a phone call and the other party can still hear you loud and clear. To do this, simply take out an earbud and hold it close to your mouth like a microphone while speaking.
These come with an improved Active Noise Cancellation function that blocks outside noise by generating an identical amount of counter noise. Users can also personalise ambient sounds, all you need to do is turn the noise cancelling off and switch between sound modes. The Ambient mode adapts to your current situation and switches to chat mode to quickly order something in a café or to have short conversations without having to take out your earbuds.
With the UVnano charging case, you need to simply put your earbuds in the case to charge them – whether connected or not – and that UVnano kills 99.9% of bacteria in just 5 minutes. The audio device is IPX4-rated for dust and water resistance. In terms of connectivity, the TWS earphones can connect up to five devices as it has support for multi-pairing. Besides Bluetooth v5.2 there is also support for Google Fast Pairing and Windows Swift Pair protocols.
LG Tone Free offers 24 hours of playback on a single charge. 10 hours with the earbuds and another 14 hours with the charging case.
