The market is now flooded with a lot of companies that are offering new two-wheeler EV in the segment.  These are not only eco friendly but fuel-efficient, too. Last week Ola, the Bengaluru based EV startup introduced Ola S1, S1 Pro and Simple One respectively, expanding the market further. So here is our recommendation of the best five available in the country. Choose the one that suits you from these popular electric scooters.

Ather 450X comes first in this category. The electric scooter features a 7-inch LCD display that displays navigation to incoming calls to the nearest charging points. It comes with a top speed of 80KM per hour with a certified range of 116Km. It accelerates from 0 to 40 Km/Hr in just 3.3 seconds. The vehicle is IP67 certified and includes centrally mounted mono-shock suspension in the rear along with two brakes in the front and the rear. The scooter is available in three colour options of Space Grey, white and mint green. This will be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.32 lakhs.

Bajaj Chetak brings back a sense of nostalgia. But this clean and green electric scooter retains its legendary Chetak style with a sequential LED blinker, flushed fitted exterior, horseshoe DRL Headlamps. It comes with a top range of 90KM and quickly charges in just 60 minutes. It will be available in 6 colours and 2 variants premium and urbane price starting at Rs 1,42,988.

Simple One

Another one that made it to our listicle is Simple One. This vehicle comes with a 4,500W Motor. It equips a 4.8 kWh removable lithium-ion battery with a claimed range of 236km and a top speed of 105kmph. It can accelerate from 0-40kmph in less than 3 seconds. There are four riding modes Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic. The EV also includes 12-inch wheels with a 200mm front disc and a 180mm rear disc. The scooter has been introduced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.10 lakh and will be available in four colours Brazen Black, Namma Red, Grace White, and Azure Blue.

The TVS iQube scooter is equipped with a 4.4 kW electric motor and has a maximum speed of 78 km/h. It delivers a distance of 75 km on a full charge and can top the speed of 40 km/h in 4.2 seconds. It is available at an on-road price of Rs 1,23,917.

Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooter launched in India: Here is everything about the new vehicles

Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro

This electric two-wheeler is the most recent of them all. These EVs are offered in two options: 2.98kWh battery on the former and the 3.97kWh battery on the latter variant. Both the scooters feature a 7.0-inch TFT display and run MoveOS — built by Ola Electric and are powered by an octa-core processor. There are four modes at launch — Bolt, Care, Vintage, and Wonder. The Ola S1 comes with a 2.98kWh battery with a riding range of 121km whereas the Ola S1 Pro packs a 3.97kWh battery with a maximum range of 181km. The price of the S1 starts at Rs 99,999 while the Pro version will be available at a starting price of Rs 1,29,999.
