Microsoft India has officially rolled out the new model of Microsoft Surface Laptop Go in India. This device is the company’s latest addition to Microsoft’s Surface lineup. The laptop comes with a non-detachable keyboard powered by a 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor. The display is touch-enabled and is claimed to deliver a balance of performance, battery life and style, this is the most lightweight and affordable Surface laptop yet.

Commenting on the launch Rajiv Sodhi, Chief Operating Officer, Microsoft India said, “As the reality of hybrid work and learning environments unfolds before us, the PC continues to play an integral role in keeping all of us connected to our work, school, and lives – and every person today needs a PC. Our goal is to design a Surface for every person, work style and location. With the new Surface Laptop Go, we want to give every person in the household or organization a laptop that’s not just something you need to use, but something you want to use. The Surface Laptop Go is our lightest and most affordable Surface laptop yet that offers the perfect balance of performance, battery life and style,”

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go has been launched in India win four different configurations: The price is mentioned below:

  • i5/4/64GB- Rs 63,499
  • i5/8/128GB- Rs 76,199
  • i5/8/256GBINR- Rs 92,999
  • i5/16/256GB- Rs 110,999

The laptop is now available for purchase via commercial authorised resellers, authorised retail, and online partners such as Reliance Digital and Amazon at no-cost EMIs up to 9 months starting Rs 8000/month.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go weighs 1.11 kg and is touted to be the lightest Surface Laptop ever. The device has a 12.45-inch PixelSense display with a 3:2 screen ratio. There is a full-size keyboard with 1.3mm key travel with a trackpad. It runs on Windows 10 Home in S mode. Under the chassis, there is a 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor with up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of SSD storage.

For security, there is Windows Hello and One Touch sign-in with a Fingerprint Reader Power button on select models. According to the company, the One Touch sign-in also provides fast, secured access to OneDrive Personal Vault files and more for quick productivity. There is built-in Studio Mics, Omnisonic Speakers and Dolby Audio.

Apart from this, there is a 720p HD webcam for video calls. The Surface Laptop Go offers Windows Autopilot to reduce IT complexity by deploying straight to employees.

All configurations of Surface Laptop Go comes with cloud-connected experiences like Microsoft 365 and online storage. On the connectivity front, the Microsoft laptop includes USB-C and USB-A ports, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.0 support.
