Motorola today announced the launch of its most affordable 5G smartphone namely Moto G 5G in India. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 750G processor and runs near-stock Android UI. The device will be exclusively available via Flipkart in India. To recall earlier this month the company introduced the device in Europe with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage but here in India the 5G smartphone will be available in 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Moreover, the phone has a hole-punch HD display and triple rear cameras.
Moto G 5G price in India and launch offers
Moto G 5G has been introduced in India in a single 6GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs 19,999. The device will be available via the e-commerce website Flipkart from September 7 onwards from 12 noon onwards. The phone will be available in two colour options Volcanic Grey and Frosted Silver. On the purchase of the device, the company will be offering a Rs 1000 Instant Discount on HDFC Bank Credit Cards and Credit & Debit card EMI transactions. Moreover, there will be 5 percent cash back on SBI and Axis cards payment.
Moto G 5G specifications and features
Speaking of the specification, Moto G 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ LTPS display. It offers 1,080×2,400 pixels of resolution and 394ppi pixel density. The 5G phone runs on Android 10 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
The Moto G 5G endows a triple rear camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture. In addition to this, there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 118-degree field of view and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and video calling there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Additional features on the phone include a 5,000mAh battery with a 20W TurboPower fast charging tech and a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. In terms of connectivity, the phone includes 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C port, GPS among others. In addition to this, the device comes with a water-repellent design that keeps your phone protected inside and out. While the NFC terminal to make a purchase at the store and lets you wirelessly share content like contacts, pictures, and videos with other devices.
