Today, Motorola released the Edge 70 Fusion in India. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 CPU powers the smartphone. It has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that refreshes at 144Hz. It has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 main back camera with optical image stabilisation. The gadget has a big 7,000mAh battery that can charge quickly at 68W. It also has IP68 and IP69 certifications, and it meets the MIL-STD-810H standards for durability.

Pricing and Availability

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion starts at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model costs Rs 29,999, while the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model sells for Rs 32,999. There will be three different colours of the phone: Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Silhouette.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has a 6.7-inch Super HD+ Extreme AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K True Colour Quad-Curved technology. Pantone validated this display, which achieves 100% of the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut and features a 10-bit colour depth for rich pictures. With a peak brightness of 5200 nits, it maintains clarity even in direct sunlight while providing smooth performance suitable for gaming. Additional features include Smart Water Touch, SGS Eye Care Certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, which improve user experience and durability.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile platform, which offers considerable improvements in AI, CPU, and GPU performance. It is based on Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU architecture and improves performance by 27%. The new GPU boosts graphics performance by 30%, while the enhanced NPU provides 65% faster on-device AI capabilities, including CoPilot and Perplexity. The gadget has an advanced cooling system, including a 4,473 mm² vapour chamber for effective thermal management. It can be configured with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and it supports 16 5G bands as well as Wi-Fi 6E for fast connectivity.

It has the Hello UI based on Android 16 and is promised three operating system upgrades and five years of security patches. The gadget has two stereo speakers that are boosted by Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio technology, resulting in immersive sound quality with exceptional clarity and depth.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has Moto AI 2.0, which improves the user experience with enhanced intelligent capabilities. The device provides contextual recommendations through Next Move, tailoring them to the user’s screen content and suggesting appropriate actions in real time. Creative features include AI Image Studio, Sketch to Image, Style Sync, Text to Sticker, and avatar creation. Catch Me Up 2.0 improves productivity by providing live transcriptions with Pay Attention, AI Playlist Studio, Global Search, Auto Screenshot Blur, and improved task management across devices with This On That. Furthermore, features such as ‘Remember This’ and ‘Recall’ function as a smart memory vault, and Perplexity integration provides fast access to exploration and planning support. Users may choose from various intelligent assistance alternatives, including Moto AI, Copilot, Perplexity, and Google Gemini, for a flexible and responsive experience.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion fulfils military durability standards after completing 16 MIL-STD-810H tests. It works successfully in harsh temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C and can sustain humidity levels of up to 95%. Furthermore, the gadget has IP68 and IP69 water resistance certifications, which protect against dust and high-pressure water exposure. It can also resist immersion in 1.5 metres of fresh water for up to 30 minutes.
