The Nothing consumer technology company, with headquarters in London, has begun rolling out Nothing OS 2.0 to Phone 1 users. It is jam-packed with additional features, increased customizability, and improved functioning. Users of Nothing’s Phone 2 received Nothing OS 2.0.2a last week. The camera performance was prioritised in this version, with an emphasis on HDR enhancements, low-light settings, and facial clarity. Since the launch of the Phone 2 in July, there has been yet another software development.
Since its release last month, Nothing OS 2.0 has only been accessible to users of the Phone 2, but starting today, Phone 1 users can also utilise the software, which features ‘ mindful consumption’ at its core, as per the company.
Since the new update is already live on our Nothing Phone 1 (Review), we’ve shared a screenshot to show that it’s now possible to get the upgrade.
To get the new update you must go to settings if you haven’t received a notification, scroll down, click on the System tab, and then select System Update. You can see there that Phone 1 users can now download Nothing OS 2.0. Also, note that you must be connected to a Wi-Fi network since you must download a 0.97GB file. Additionally, it is preferable to charge your device before starting the update process.

According to the company, the changelog only contains the highlight features, but there are many areas in which they have improved the Phone 1 software.
