London-based tech firm owned by Carl Pei has launched its latest smartphone Nothing Phone 2a Plus in the Indian market today. The device is an upgraded variant of Nothing Phone 2a launched in March of this year. The just-released phone has the same appearance and design as the Phone 2a, but its specs have changed slightly. Nothing Phone 2a Plus Price in India, and availability

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus has launched in India in variants. The price of the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage is set at Rs 27,999 whereas the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage is priced at Rs 29,999. The device will be offered in two colour options Grey and Black. As per the company the phone is scheduled to be available for the first time on August 7 via Flipkart in the country.

Similar to the Phone 2a the device also features a Glyph Interface. This array of LEDs can be made to light up for notifications and calls. The Nothing Phone 2a Plus features a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 1,080×2,412 pixels of resolution. The panel has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a peak brightness of 1300 nits, 394ppi pixel density, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The device operates on Nothing OS 2.6 with Android 14 out of the box. The company has promised to provide three years of Android updates and four years of security updates. Under the hood, there is MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G SoC paired with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.

It also features a dual back camera setup that includes a primary 50-megapixel Samsung GN9 1/1.57-inch sensor with f/1.88 aperture, 10x digital zoom, and OIS with EIS support. Additionally, there is a secondary 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 1/2.76-inch sensor that comes with a 114-degree field of view (FoV). For selfies the Phone 2a Plus sports a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor.

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus has a dust and water-resistant construction rated IP54. The smartphone has a 360-degree antenna, USB Type-C port, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, and Wi-Fi 6 Direct for connectivity. There are several sensors on board, including an in-display fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, electronic compass, and ambient light sensor. Dual stereo speakers and high-definition microphones are also included with the phone.

On the Nothing Phone 2a Plus, Nothing has included a 5,000mAh battery that supports 50W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging.
