Nothing Phone (3a) Series goes global, featuring Glyph Interface with 26 customizable zones

The smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC.

London-based tech company Nothing today officially unveiled the Nothing Phone (3a) Series globally and in India. The lineup included two variants: Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC powers both the devices. These phones run on Android 15-based NothingOS 3.1 and pack a 5,000mAh battery and 50-megapixel triple rear camera setups. The smartphone also features a Glyph Interface with 26 customizable zones and has an IP64 rating.

Availability and launch offers

On March 11, the Nothing Phone 3a will go on sale nationwide, and on March 15, the Pro model will follow. These can be purchased via Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Vijay Sales, Croma and select retail stores in the country.

The launch offer includes an additional Rs 3,000 exchange offer on the first day of the sale.

Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro Specifications

Both Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro feature a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,080×2,392 pixels. The panel has Panda Glass protection, which also supports up to 3,000 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Moreover, the screen comes with a 2,160Hz PWM frequency along with support for up to 1,000Hz touch sampling rate (gaming mode). They are highlighted with a Glyph Interface with 26 customizable zones.

The device comes pre-installed with Android 15-based NothingOS 3.1 out of the box. The company is promising three years of software upgrades and four years of security fixes. Under the hood, there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC.

In terms of optics, both the phones feature a triple rear camera setup and a 32-megapixel front camera. The vanilla 3a has a 50-megapixel Samsung 1/1.57-inch primary sensor (f/1.88 aperture, OIS and EIS) a 50-megapixel Sony 1/2.74-inch telephoto lens (f/2.0 aperture, and EIS, 2x optical, 4x in-sensor and 30x digital zoom) and an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle sensor (f/2.2 aperture).

Whereas the Pro model has a 50-megapixel Samsung 1/1.56-inch main sensor (F/1.88 aperture, OIS and EIS and 2x in sensor zoom), a 50-megapixel Sony 1/1.95-inch periscope telephoto lens (f/2.55 aperture, OIS, EIS, 3x optical, 6x in-sensor and 60x digital zoom) and an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle camera (f/2.2 aperture).

In terms of connectivity, there is 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port for charging. Both pack a 5,000mAh battery with 50W wired fast charging support.
