OnePlus 10 Pro powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC debuts in India

Oneplus, a Chinese premium smartphone company, unveiled its state-of-the-art OnePlus 10 Pro in India today. The device is a follow-up to the OnePlus 9 Pro. The phone was launched at a competitive price point and offers a flagship-level experience. The phone has a 120Hz fluid AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The cameras on the OnePlus 10 Pro, like those on the OnePlus 9 Series from last year, are Hasselblad-branded.

The OnePlus 10 Pro has been launched in India in two variants 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model. The price of former one is priced at Rs Rs 66,999 while the latter one comes with a price tag of Rs 71,999. This device will be offered in 2 colour options of Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black

According to the company, the open sale is suggested to begin earlier next month on April 5.

A 6.7-inch QHD+ curved LTPO display with a resolution of 1,4403,216 pixels and a 20.1:9 aspect ratio distinguishes the OnePlus 10 Pro. A dynamic refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz is also available on the screen. The display has a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and supports always-on mode. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus panel.

ColorOS 12.1 runs on top of Android 12 on the OnePlus 10 Pro. It also comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera array for photos and videos, which includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS). The camera configuration also includes a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS. The camera on the smartphone has a 3.3x optical zoom capability. It can also record video in up to 8K resolution at 24 frames per second.

For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 camera sensor with an f/2.4 aperture on the front.

The OnePlus 10 Pro has a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery that supports both wired and wireless charging at 80W and 50W, respectively. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector are just a few of the connectivity options available. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the display. The board includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The phone has dual speakers and Dolby Atmos support.
