OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z headphones India prices revealed

Despite the coronavirus pandemic the Chinese premium smartphone company OnePlus announced the global launch of its new OnePlus 8 series. Alongside OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, the company also launched its Bullets Wireless Z headphones. Now without any further delay, the company has announced the pricing of the devices for the Indian market. However, the availability details are still not known because of the countrywide lockdown. It is expected to go on sale in the country by next month. Read on to know more about the devices as well as its Indian pricing.

The pricing of the regular model that is OnePlus 8 starts at Rs 41,999 for the base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage whereas the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs 44,999, and the top variant which is the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage comes at Rs 49,999. According to the company the 6GB RAM model is going to be Amazon India exclusive whereas the other two models will be available across all online and offline channels that include the Amazon India website, OnePlus experience store as well as Croma.

On the other hand, the top-end model that is the OnePlus 8 Pro’s price starts at Rs 54,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant whereas the 12GB RAM with 256GB memory model will be available at Rs 59,999. Both the variants of the Pro model can be purchased via Amazon India website as well as offline stores.

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z headphones will be available with a price tag of Rs 1,999.

The OnePlus 8 runs on OxygenOS on top of Android 10 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 two-lane storage. It features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixels of resolution and up to 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection and an in-display fingerprint sensor. For photos, there is a triple rear camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture. Furthermore, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor on the front. It packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T (5V/ 6A).

The OnePlus 8 Pro also runs on OxygenOS based on top of Android 10. The device is powered by the same processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display along with up to 120Hz refresh rate. It will offer 1,440×3,168 pixels of resolution, 19.8:9 aspect ratio and is protected with a layer of 3D Corning Gorilla Glass along with an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

In terms of optics, there is a quad rear camera set up which includes a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX689 sensor with f/1.78 aperture. The camera system is further supported by an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.44 aperture, a tertiary 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel color filter sensor with f/2.4 aperture for artistic lighting effects and filters. For taking selfies and video calling it sports a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor.

Additionally, OnePlus 8 Pro houses a 4,510mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T (5V/ 6A) and Warp Charge 30 Wireless along with a reverse wireless charging option.

The all-new OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z headphones comes with a Magnetic Control for pausing as well as starting of musing just by joining and separating the earbuds. With the help of Quick Pair, it can be paired quickly with the device whereas the Quick Switch can be used to easily switch between two devices. The OnePlus headphones will be available in Black, Blue, Mint, and Oat colour variants. 

It comes with an IP55 rating for sweat and water resistance with 9.2mm dynamic driver and super bass tone. The earphones weigh 28 grams and are claimed to have a wireless range of 10 metres. For connectivity, there is Bluetooth v5.0 and USB Type-C port for charging. According to the company with a quick 10-minute charging, it provides a music playback for up to 10 hours, while a full charge provides up to 20 hours of battery life.
