OpenAI introduced the Library option, which shows recently uploaded files automatically

The Library is an option in ChatGPT to store data, and it makes it easy to find and attach files that have already been posted.

OpenAI is releasing a new update. ChatGPT has added a new feature called the Library. This feature is meant to improve the user experience by letting users save and reuse files they upload across multiple conversations. You can locate this helpful function in the new Recent Files menu, which displays documents uploaded in recent conversations. One of its main advantages is that it makes it easier to share files during chats, which means that users don’t have to upload files over and over again. This makes communication on the platform more efficient overall.

OpenAI has added a new feature to ChatGPT that makes it easier for users to engage with files they upload. The most important new feature is the Library option in the main menu, which makes it easy for users to get to their uploaded content. Users may now quickly find different types of uploaded files, such as documents, pictures, spreadsheets, and presentations. You can get to files in conversations by clicking on an attachment icon that has a new “Recent files” option that shows the three files that were uploaded most recently.

This feature lets users re-upload files in the same chat or link them to new ones. The Library is also accessible in the sidebar, where users may browse and search stored files by type or upload status. A new search bar has been added to help users find files more quickly. Also, users may restrict search results by file type and the status of the upload or generation process.
