Chinese smartphone maker Oppo had listed its A7 smartphone on its official website in India last week. And now, it has confirmed the price and availability of its latest handset. To recall, the Oppo A7 smartphone houses a 4,230mAh battery and is powered by a Snapdragon 450 processor. Here are the pricing details and specifications of the smartphone you should know about:

The Oppo A7 smartphone is available in only one variant, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage and is priced at Rs 16,990. The smartphone can be bought from Flipkart and Amazon India’s website. On Flipkart, customers can get up to Rs 14,900 off in exchange for their old smartphone and avail a no-cost EMI at Rs 1,888. On the other hand, Amazon India is offering an exchange discount up to Rs 12,500 and EMIs starting at Rs 800 per month.

Buyers can also get a 5% instant discount if they choose an EMI option and pay with their HDFC Bank credit or debit card. Other than this, the company is also offering one-year damage protection plan at a discounted price of Rs 1,999. On taking the damage protection plan, Amazon India will also give customers an Amazon voucher of Rs 200. Oppo A7 is available in Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue colour options.

Oppo A7 specifications

Speaking of the specifications of Oppo A7, the smartphone sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display that comes with 1520×720 pixel resolution and has a waterdrop-shaped notch on top. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 450 processor clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For more storage, users can install a microSD card of up to 256GB. Oppo A7 houses a 4,230mAh battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo skinned with ColorOS 5.2.

For imaging duties, the smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup with 13MP and 2MP sensors and an LED flash. The Oppo A7 mobile features a 16MP sensor on the front panel for selfies and video calls. On connectivity front, there is Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio socket, and microUSB port. The device also has a fingerprint sensor embedded on its back panel.
