Optoma released Wave series laser projectors in India with prices starting at Rs 3.6 lacs

Optoma has launched the Optoma Wave series, a mainstream home entertainment laser projector series in India, featuring Wave110R, Wave110S, and Wave120R models. These home entertainment laser projectors offer bright, sharp images with colour precision, 360-degree installation, and energy efficiency, reducing power consumption.

We are pleased to introduce the Optoma Wave series to India, which not only provides stunning image quality and installation flexibility but also sets new standards for reducing power consumption and carbon footprint. We aim to lead the market with reasonably priced home laser projectors that meet the expectations of Indian consumers who prefer high specifications while considering the overall value.”

The Optoma Wave series projectors are intended for household usage and provide bright, sharp images with colour precision. They offer a brightness range of 3,500–4,300 lumens with a dynamic contrast ratio of 2,200,000:1. They are said to be great for home theatres, with 360-degree installation and 4-corner correction features. They may be put on ceilings, walls, or floors, and can accommodate screens up to 300 inches.

The Wave110S is a 100-inch screen projection device that may be set up in narrow living rooms up to 1.1 metres distance. It supports 4K input and HDR technology, which improves brightness and contrast for more realistic, detailed displays. According to the company, the gadget provides great image quality and reliability in a variety of settings, particularly homes.

The new Wave series of projectors has a smaller design and an external power source for better energy efficiency. DuraCore laser light sources, which are developed for environmental considerations, can last up to 30,000 hours. The optical engine has been sealed to prevent dust particles and has an IP6X rating. The Wave series consumes up to 45% less power than typical lamp projectors from Optoma and 76% less than a 100-inch TV.

According to the company, the price of the new Optoma Wave series starts at Rs 3.6 lacs in the country.
