Optoma UHD33 4K UHD projector with 240Hz refresh rate unveiled in India: Comes with special gaming mode

During the unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Optoma has introduced UHD33 4K UHD Home Theatre Projector in India to address the customer’s need for at-home entertainment. The Optoma 4K UHD projector comes with a 240Hz refresh rate and delivers vibrant and blur-free visuals and HDR10 support. This projector also comes integrated with gaming mode and dynamic black tech.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vijay Sharma, Country Head India, Optoma Corporation, said, “The new UHD33 4KUHD projector is designed to double the visual and gaming experience with its lightning-fast refreshing rate and power-packed visual performance. After substantial growth in the home segment in 2020, we expect to see the trend of multi-purpose use of projectors to drive the AV sector in 2021 as well. Amid COVID-related restrictions, people’s overall habit of watching and binging has changed forever and Optoma’s UHD33 projector is meant to enhance their gaming and cinematic experience while at home.”

The Optoma UHD33 4K UHD projector comes equipped with 16.7ms Ultra-Fast Input and 240Hz refresh rate to support next-gen consoles. It supports 4K @60Hz immersive gaming and offers Ultra-low 4.2ms latency@1080P 240Hz for PC games. According to the company, this projector gives hardcore gamers an edge in visibility as frames transition happens instantly, providing crystal clear images during periods of rapid action.

In addition to this, the Optoma UHD33 comes with 3,600 ANSI lumens of brightness and delivers a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, along with HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid-Log Gamma) compatibility. Apart from offering natural colours and accurate, sharp and high-quality images using the XPR technology the device is powered by 4K UHD Texas Instruments DLP Chipset 7541.

The 4K UHD projector also supports a 21:9 aspect ratio for ultrawide images. In addition to this, it comes with 4-Corner Correction, 8-Segment Color Wheel and Signal source Blu-ray 3D/ PC 3D.

Coming to the pricing, the Optoma UHD33 4K UHD projector will be available with a price tag of Rs 1,99,000. It will be available for purchase via the company’s official website as well as other online e-comm portals in the country.
