Panasonic’s new 2026 Residential Air Conditioner launched in India

The new lineup is said to withstand India's harsh climate.

Panasonic has unveiled its 2026 Residential Air Conditioner portfolio, designed to combat India’s severe weather. These air conditioners are designed to be durable, energy efficient, and climate resilient. The DustBuster Technology, which contains an auto reverse-flow fan system to remove dust from the outdoor unit, is a vital feature. This innovation improves cooling consistency, efficiency, and long-term durability, demonstrating Panasonic’s commitment to dependable performance in difficult Indian climates. The company intends to increase manufacturing to 2 million units by FY28.

Panasonic’s 2026 air conditioner lineup includes 57 new models across various segments and price ranges, with an emphasis on performance, energy economy, and smart functionality to meet evolving customer comfort expectations. The lineup comprises a choice of inverter air conditioners rated 5-star, 4-star, and 3-star, as well as a premium Amaze Facia design in Dark Grey and Chrome for better aesthetics and high-performance cooling. Prices start at Rs. 32,490.

Panasonic air conditioners have cutting-edge personalised cooling technologies, like the MirAIe Smart Ecosystem, which allows for remote operation, AI-driven adaptive cooling, and extensive smart-home integration via Matter-enabled interoperability. Their unique nanoe Active Air Purification technology delivers cleaner indoor air by reducing pollutants and odours.

With our 2026 RAC line-up, we are introducing smarter, more resilient, and energy-efficient air conditioners that go beyond cooling to create healthier and more comfortable living spaces for Indian households. Building on this launch, we aim to scale our air conditioner volumes to approximately 2 million units by FY28, backed by an expanded portfolio, continued investments in technology and manufacturing, and a stronger presence across emerging markets.”
