Pixel 4a Barely Blue colour variant launched

The limited-edition colour variant is available while supply lasts

Google Pixel 4a was announced recently in the market. The device was earlier available in a single just black but now the company has introduced it a new limited-edition colour variant. The Google Pixel 4a Barely Blue colour variant has been introduced in the US till the stock last via Google Store. While here in India the ‘Just Black’ colour variant is up for sale and the new colour option of Pixel 4a is not yet listed.

Pixel 4a Barely Blue price is the same as the regular Just Black variant which comes at $349 that translates to Rs 26,000 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option. The new colour option can be purchased till the stock lasts via Google store in the US. There is no word from the company when the Pixel 4a Barely Blue will be made available in India also. However, the Just Black variant is currently available for sale in the country.

Pixel 4a Barely Blue colour variant specifications

Only the colour will be different and the internals of Pixel 4a will remain the same as the standard variant. Google Pixel 4a Barely Blue comes with a 5.8 inches OLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution at 1,080×2,340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio along with a pixel density at 443 PPI. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage and it runs on Android 10 OS out of the box.

Pixel 4a Barely Blue features a 12-megapixel single rear camera set up on the phone having f/1.7 aperture with optical image stabilisation (OIS) for stable images. It has camera modes such as dual exposure controls, Portrait Mode, Top Shot, Night Sight with astrophotography functions, and fused video stabilisation. While on the front there is also a single 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens housed inside a hole-punch display.

For connectivity there is, a 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1 + LE, A2DP 7, NFC, Google Cast, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, BeiDou, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. And, this smartphone boasts a 3,140mAh battery supported by an 18W fast charger.
