Xiaomi’s spin-off Poco is all set to launch its new smartphone in the Indian market. The company has officially confirmed the launch of the new smartphone Poco F2 via Twitter. Although this the second smartphone from the company’s popular F series but the Poco F2 Pro which was introduced globally last year never made it to the Indian shore. But now the upcoming Poco phone is to get launched in India very soon and will succeed Poco F1 which was the first smartphone to be launched by the Chinese brand launched in 2018.
Poco is now prepping up to launch Poco F2 in India. The company has only made an announcement to launch the smartphone but it has not revealed any information about the smartphone. on the other hand, the Indian Tipster Abhishek Yadav citing information from the Xiaomi Telegram group has revealed a lot of key specs of the upcoming phone. According to him, Poco F2 is likely to feature a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen. It is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset which we have already seen on the Poco X3.
Moreover, the Poco smartphone will be backed by a 4,250mAh battery and is suggested to include a quad-camera setup on the back of the phone. Although the camera resolution remains hidden but it is expected to include a 64-megapixel sensor or a 108-megapixel sensor as this is the company flagship model. In the meanwhile, other rumours suggest the camera model will be consisting of a wide-angle lens, ultrawide, macro and depth sensor.
On the other hand, rumours suggest that Poco F2 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 800 series processor as it is the flagship model by the brand. To recall Poco made its debut in the market with the launch of Poco F1 in the year 2018.
In addition to this Poco F2 is speculated to be priced ranging between 20,000 and Rs 25,000. Although there is only speculation to fall back on when it comes to the Poco F2 specification and we suggest you take the information with a grain of salt.
