Poco M4 Pro 5G powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC launched in India

The mobile handset features a 90Hz display and a dual-camera set-up.

Today Poco M4 Pro 5G officially arrived in the Indian market. The device is a successor the last year’s Poco M3 Pro 5G; also the new phone debuted globally in November 2021. The key details of the new Poco 5G smartphone include a 90Hz display and 50MP dual camera set up. In addition to this, the device has a Turbo RAM function, which effectively doubles the built-in RAM by using internal storage. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC.

Poco M4 Pro 5G price in India and sale details

Poco M4 Pro 5G has been launched in three different configurations. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage edition of the Poco M4 Pro 5G costs Rs 14,999 in India. The smartphone is also available in a 6GB with 128GB option for Rs 16,999 and an 8GB RAM with 128GB model for Rs 18,999. The device is being offered in multiple colour options: Cool Blue, Poco Yellow, and Power Black.

In terms of availability, the Poco 5G smartphone will go on sale from February 22 at 12 noon via the e-commerce website Flipkart.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dot Display a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and a DCI-P3 broad colour gamut. The handset is powered by MIUI 12.5 for Poco, which is based on Android 11. It is also expected to receive MIUI 13 in the coming weeks. It comes equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The phone also has a Turbo RAM function, which effectively doubles the built-in RAM by using internal storage. The phone provides up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage with microSD card expansion to up to 1TB.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G has a dual rear camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor. The front of the Poco smartphone features a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.45 aperture.

The M4 Pro 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Pro fast charging capabilities. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers. In addition, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, IR blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone port are among the connectivity choices.
