The device is confirmed to include a fast-charging battery

The Chinese smartphone brand and Xiaomi’s spin-off Poco seems to be working on a new smartphone namely Poco X3. Recently the device with model number M2007J20CG was spotted in the US FCC certification database revealing its rear panel schematic. The device was then speculated to carry a 64-megapixel camera with AI support. But now it has been confirmed by a company executive via Twitter. The rumour mills also suggest it should be bearing the same camera details as to its predecessor Poco X2 that the company launched earlier this year.

At the moment there is no confirmation from the company about the launch of its brand-new phone Poco X3 but the rumours and leaks are suggesting that it might be coming in a few months. Poco’s Product Marketing Manager and Global Spokesperson, Angus Kai Ho Ng has shared a tweet confirming that the phone will be featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor. In addition, the executive has also shared a couple of camera samples to confirm the presence of a 64-megapixel camera. In one of the images, the phone can be clearly seen with a camera app which shows the Pro mode, Video mode, Photo mode along with some of the camera settings. The picture is being shot using the Pro Mode which shows the options to fine-tune aperture, exposure value, ISO sensitivity, as well as white balance.

As per the leaked renders, the device will be featuring a hole-punch display. It might come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and will be available in Blue and Black gradient colour.

The renders further suggest a quad-camera setup inside a semi-curved rectangular-shaped camera module on the back of the phone similar to its predecessor. It is suggested to include a 64-megapixel primary sensor.

Poco X3 is further expected to come with a 6.67-inch 120Hz display with 240Hz touch latency. As per the tipster, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732 SoC.

Poco X3 will reportedly come with a 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and a 64-megapixel quad camera setup.
