The Taiwan-based electronics major Ace at its [email protected] event announced its collaboration with the German carmaker Porsche Design by introducing a new laptop in the market. Porsche Design Acer Book RS is the company luxury laptop that will come with high-end technologies with minimalist design elements. The high-end notebook has an all-metal chassis powered by 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU.

The Porsche Design Acer Book RS comes with an all-metal chassis topped off with a carbon fiber cover, a distinctive touch derived from decades of motorsports designs that value carbon fiber for its lightweight strength and extreme performance. While the two covers are connected by a unibody hinge that slightly elevates the keyboard upon opening the notebook, improving cooling and creating a more ergonomic typing experience. For more convenience there it has backlit keys with a glass precision touchpad that provides multi-gesture support.
The notebook has been engineered with Intel and includes Intel Evo platform verified models that bring good battery life, fast charge and instant wake. At the heart of the laptop, there is the latest 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU and 16 GB of RAM. Porsche Design Acer Book RS features a 14-inch FHD IPS touchscreen that is covered with a layer of Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass with 100% of the sRGB color gamut and 90% screen-to-body ratio. It has thin bezels whereas the dual copper heat pipes ensure the device remains cool and the impressive battery lasts 17 hours while also capable of generating 4 hours of usage with a 30-minute fast charge.
For connectivity, it has Dual-band Intel (Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) with all the necessary ports such as USB-C, Thunderbolt 4 and USB3.2 Gen 2. The smart features on the Acer laptop include fingerprint logins via Windows Hello, Modern Standby and Wake on Voice further improve the user experience.
Besides this the carmaker has also designed a Porsche Design Acer Travelpack RS which includes a mousepad, mouse, carrying pouch and notebook sleeve. According to the company the travel pouch is made from ECCO PALERMO XA Leather. It has a Magnetic clasps pouch connect to the notebook sleeve that has been formed from 1680D fabric which is water repellent as well as scratches and wear-and-tear resistant. Whereas the notebook sleeve’s detachable lid has been designed to double as a mousepad.
On the other hand, the Bluetooth and wireless Porsche Design Acer Mouse RS is made from Carbon fiber that ensures longer lifespans and equips a DPI switch that enables users to quickly switch between three pre-set sensitivity levels.
Porsche Design Acer Book RS price and availability
The Porsche Design Acer Book RS with travel pack and mouse is priced at USD 1,999.99 in North America and in EMEA it will start at EUR 2,399 while in China this will be available at RMB 19,999.
Separately, only the Porsche Design Acer Book RS will be available in North America starting at USD 1,399.99, in EMEA starting at EUR 1,799 and in China at RMB 14,999. Whereas the Porsche Design Acer Mouse RS will be offered at USD 109.99 and in EMEA starting at EUR 99. While the Porsche Design Acer Travelpack RS (mousepad, mouse, carrying pouch and notebook sleeve) will be available in North America starting at USD 329.99 and in EMEA starting at EUR 299.
