Redmi 10 budget smartphone has officially debuted in India today. It looks to be a repackaged Redmi 10C, which launched earlier this week in Nigeria. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and features a waterdrop-style notch display. The smartphone is the successor of the Redmi 9 which was launched last year.

Redmi 10 price in India and launch offers
Redmi 10 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM with a 64GB storage model. The device also comes in 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage model priced at Rs 12,999. The budget smartphone will be available in three colour options Pacific Blue, Caribbean Green and Midnight Black.
Redmi 10 will be available across Mi.com, Flipkart.com, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores starting March 24 at 12:00 noon onwards. Customers who use an HDFC Bank credit card or credit card EMIs will receive a Rs 1,000 immediate discount on the Redmi 10.
Redmi 10 specifications
Redmi 10 is highlighted with a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 20.6:9 aspect ratio and a max brightness of 400 nits. A Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protects the display as well. The handset runs Android 11 with MIUI 13 on top and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with Adreno 610 GPU. The phone is available with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage that can be expanded with a microSD card via a dedicated slot. One can also virtually extend the RAM by up to 2GB by leveraging the built-in storage.
Redmi 10 features a dual rear camera set-up that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. The camera is accompanied by an LED flash. Additionally, the handset has a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front for selfies and video chats.
The Redmi 10 is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that enables 18W fast charging. However, the supplied charger only enables charging up to 10W. The smartphone has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone port for connectivity. An accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor are among the sensors onboard. At the rear, there is also a fingerprint sensor.
