Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro Alpha Sale begins on July 12 in India

Are you eagerly waiting for the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro?

Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones are all set to be launched in India on July 17 and the devices will be exclusively available on Flipkart. Prior to the launch of the two devices, the company has confirmed a pre-launch Alpha Sale for Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. The sale will begin on Flipkart and Mi.com starting July 12 and it will let users reserve a handset for themselves by paying a nominal fee.

If you are an interested customer, you can pre-book a device for yourself during the Alpha Sale by paying Rs 855. By doing this, you will definitely be able to get your hands on the smartphone during the first sale of the two handsets. You will be getting a coupon during this sale that can be redeemed during the first Redmi K20 sale.

In case you plan not to redeem it, the amount will be refunded back to your Mi.com account. Flipkart users, on the other hand, will be able to use the coupon for any other purchase on the website. If you pre-book the handset, you will be able to buy it without getting into the hassles of flash sales.

Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi K20 price

The Redmi K20 Pro smartphone was launched in multiple variants in China and its starting price in the country is CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 24,900). On the other hand, the Redmi K20 was launched at a starting price of CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 19,990). The India price of the two smartphones is yet to be announced, but we can safely assume that it will be similar to their price in China.

Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi K20 specifications

Coming to the specifications of the handsets, Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 sport a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel and come with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 91.9% screen to body ratio. Both the devices house in-display fingerprint scanners. Redmi K20 Pro also comes with support for hardware DC dimming. While Redmi K20 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC and comes with Adreno 640 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM, its younger sibling houses Snapdragon 730 chipset.

On the imaging front, Redmi K20 Pro has an AI-backed triple rear camera setup that comprises of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 13MP wide-angle sensor, and a third 8MP sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 20MP pop-up front camera.

Redmi K20, on the other hand, has a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor. Both the devices house a 4,000mAh battery and come with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity.
