Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G likely to launch in India as Poco X3 GT

The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G was launched in China last week

Xiaomi’s spin-off brand is all set to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market. The company is expected to bring Poco X3 GT as a rebranded variant of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. The device is also tipped to launch in other markets as well with similar branding. To recall, Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G has been introduced in China last week featuring a 67W fast charging support. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC and comes with triple rear cameras.

According to tipster Kacper Skrzypek with handle @kacskrz on Twitter the alleged smartphone is expected to be introduced in Turkey and Indonesia as well as India. He has also shared a screenshot of a list of names of Xiaomi devices which also includes Poco X3 GT in the list. Also, when the Redmi smartphone was launched in China then too he mentioned that the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G may arrive in some global markets. Another Redmi smartphone is also reserved to come to India with Poco branding. Previously, the company executive confirmed that Poco F3 GT will be launched in India in the third quarter of 2021. The phone is tipped to be a rebranded variant of Redmi K40 Gaming.

If the rumours are to be believed then Poco X3 GT will arrive with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD display with 2,400×1,080 pixels of resolution and  120Hz refresh rate support. The device will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC under its hood paired with up to 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage option.

For photos and videos, Poco X3 GT may include a triple rear camera set up that will include a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel sensor with  f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, it might come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

On the connectivity front, it is likely to have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type-C port, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and others. There will be a 5,000mAh battery on board with 67W fast charging support.

As far as the pricing is concerned, there will be not much but a slight difference in the pricing of the alleged smartphone. In China Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G was launched in 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option at CYN 1,599 that translates to Rs 18,200, CNY 1,799 that translates to Rs 20,500 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage whereas the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model will be available with a price tag of CNY 1,999 that comes around Rs 22,800. The device is available in three colour options of Magic Green, Star Yarn, and Moon Soul.
