Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has today unveiled its Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones in India today. The smartphones were launched at an event in New Delhi today. We should mention that while Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in China already last month, Redmi Note 7 Pro was globally launched today. The smartphones fall under Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi and their key highlights are their 48MP primary camera and 4,000mAh battery. Here’ a look at the price, availability and specifications of Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones:

Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7 price and availability in India

Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone is available in 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage models that are priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. Redmi Note 7, on the other hand, is available in 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB models that cost Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively.

Redmi Note 7 Pro will go on sale on March 13 on Mi.com and Flipkart at 12 pm, while the younger sibling will be available on the same platforms on March 6 at 12 pm.

Redmi Note 7 Pro specifications

Coming to Redmi Note 7 Pro, it features a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dot Notch display that comes with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The screen of the smartphone has a Sunlight Display mode and a reading mode. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 processor, the smartphone comes with Adreno 612 GPU and Spectra 250L ISP. It is available with 4GB/6GB RAM and has 64GB/128GB storage onboard.

Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 48MP primary camera that can record 4K UHD videos at 30fps and has support for EIS, AI scene detection and Steady handheld night photography. In addition to this, there is also a 5MP camera on the back. For selfies and video calls, there is a 13MP AI front camera that comes AI beauty and AI portrait mode and will soon get support for Studio Lighting mode. The device runs MIUI 10 based on Android Pie.

The device houses a 4,000mAh battery that has support for Quick Charge 4. For connectivity, there is Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and a Type-C port.

Redmi Note 7 specifications

We already knew the specifications of Redmi Note 7 mobile, since it has been launched in China already. The smartphone sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LCD display that comes with a waterdrop-shaped notch and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The screen-to-body ratio of the smartphone’s display is 84%. Powered by Snapdragon 660 processor, Redmi Note 7 comes with 3GB/4GB RAM. The 3GB RAM variant is clubbed with 32GB storage, while the 4GB RAM model is paired with 64GB onboard storage.

For imaging duties, Redmi Note 7 sports a 12MP primary camera coupled with a 2MP sensor that supports Portrait mode and comes with AI enhancements. On the front panel, there is a 13MP sensor housed in the waterdrop notch that can be used in for clicking selfies.  Redmi Note 7 packs a 4,000mAh battery that comes with support for Quick Charge 4. The smartphone runs Android Pie skinned with MIUI 10.
