Braava 390t, from the makers of Roomba — iRobot, features an ivory-coloured, square-shaped robotic floor mopping device. Unlike other gizmos, Braava 390t starts its cleaning action without manual programming.
Three buttons ‘start’, ‘sweep’ and ‘mop’ are all you need to cover an area of about 1,000 sq ft for the next 210 minutes (at a single go). With this new machine, areas such as those under the bed or below the couch, which you were not able to reach previously can easily be cleaned. Other features include a pro-clean system and dual-cleaning modes for dry and damp cleaning (sweeping and mopping).
You can also fill it with mild solutions or plain water for surfaces such as vinyl, hardwood and laminate. It doesn’t end here, there are other high-tech features that will change the way you view cleaning. It’s iAdapt 2.0 Navigation process over 60 decisions/sec automatically analyses room contours to avoid rugs, stairs and other obstacles. The Northstar Navigation Cube serves as an in-house GPS, while advanced sensors help in navigation and cleaning. Further, its Pro-clean Reservoir Pad dispenses liquid in a phased manner for superior cleaning.
