Samsung Electronics introduced the Galaxy Book6 series at CES 2026, which comprises the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6. Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, based on Intel 18A technology, power this latest series, promising greater performance and increased AI-driven productivity. The devices have a sleek, ultra-slim appearance and a long battery life, making them the most sophisticated products in the Galaxy Book family to date.
The Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro include a highly advanced Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that provides vibrant images with a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits for HDR content and 500 nits for SDR workloads, maintaining clarity under varying lighting circumstances. The display has a touch screen for direct interaction and editing, as well as Vision Booster technology to improve vision outside. Certified with True Bright 1300 for enhanced brightness, it delivers true black levels of 0.0005 nits, making it excellent for creative work and pleasure. Smooth action is enabled by an adaptable refresh rate ranging from 30 Hz to 120 Hz, while Corning Gorilla Glass with DXC improves durability and reduces reflection, delivering long-lasting performance and clarity.
Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Galaxy Book6 Pro 16″ have a smaller design thanks to redesigned components, such as a larger vapour chamber and a thinner fan. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra measures 15.4 mm, while the Galaxy Book6 Pro 16″ is 11.9 mm thick.

The Galaxy Book6 series uses the newest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which are built with Intel 18A technology and have up to 16 cores for better performance, making the CPU 60% faster than older models. Its embedded neural processing unit (NPU) supports up to 50 TOPS, allowing for the quick execution of artificial intelligence tasks like image cleanup, translation, and intelligent search without relying on the cloud. The series includes NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070/5060 Laptop GPUs, which improve creative and entertainment capabilities by enabling rapid AI image generation, smooth video playback, and immersive gaming experiences.
Samsung has created a complex cooling design for the Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro versions, which includes a vapour chamber for the first time in the Pro line. This design maximises heat dissipation while maintaining a silent operation. The vapour chamber in the Galaxy Book6 Pro is new, while the Galaxy Book6 Ultra has a revised chamber with a larger surface area to uniformly dissipate heat and keep the device responsive under high workloads.
The new models have bigger fins linked to the vapour chamber, which increase surface area for better heat transfer and improve cooling efficiency by 35% over prior generations. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra also has a dual-path outlet fan and heatsink to efficiently remove heat from internal components, reducing overheating and performance loss. Furthermore, the redesigned fan has an optimised angle for quick heat release, a wider intake grill for better airflow, and Samsung’s patented uneven blade spacing technology decreases fan noise.
The gadget includes Samsung’s most advanced battery, allowing the Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro series to provide up to 30 hours of video playback and nearly five hours more usage than its predecessor. Furthermore, super-fast charging features enable the Galaxy Book6 Ultra to replenish up to 63% of battery life in only 30 minutes, allowing users to work uninterrupted during short breaks.

The Galaxy Book6 Ultra has six Dolby Atmos speakers, including four force-cancelling woofers and two tweeters, which provide immersive sound suitable for movies, games, and music. The balanced woofer design reduces vibration, reducing distortion and ensuring stability at high levels. Both the Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro 16 variants have up-firing tweeters for crisper calls and dialogue and side-firing woofers for strong, dynamic bass.
It includes capabilities such as AI Select, Search, and Note Assist. Storage Share enables smooth file access and editing between devices, while Link to Windows combines phone apps and notifications on the Galaxy Book6 to improve multitasking. Nearby Devices and Multi Control make it easy to connect and switch between devices. Second Screen allows you to expand your workspace for more flexibility during tasks.
