Have you been waiting for the launch of Samsung Galaxy A80 in India?

Samsung has completely revamped its Galaxy A series of smartphones this year and has launched a number of offerings as a part of the range. The latest among these were Samsung Galaxy A80 and Galaxy A70. While Samsung Galaxy A70 has been launched in India already, Galaxy A80 is yet to be unveiled. However, now the launch of Samsung Galaxy A80 smartphone in India seems imminent.

The company has listed the Samsung Galaxy A80 smartphone on its official Samsung India website along with its specifications and features. This means that it is just a matter of time before the device is launched in the country. The page also has a ‘Notify Me’ button, which interested buyers can click on to get more information.

The smartphone is the first ever from the South Korean technology giant to come with a rotating camera module that houses three sensors. Another key highlight of the device is that it comes with a 48MP primary sensor. Here’s everything that you should know about the smartphone:

Samsung Galaxy A80 specifications

Samsung Galaxy A80 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080×2400) Super AMOLED New Infinity display which does not have a notch on its top. Another key highlight of the Galaxy A80 smartphone is that it comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Powered by an Octa Core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.8GHz Hexa) processor, Samsung Galaxy A80 comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup that is housed in a rotating module and comprises of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 3D depth sensor. Since the device has a rotating module, the same cameras can be used to click selfies too. Needless to say, those who love to use smartphones for entertainment purposes would appreciate the full-screen display.

The smartphone houses a 3,700mAh battery with 25W Super-Fast Charging support and runs Android 9.0 Pie that is skinned with Samsung’s One UI on top.
