The global technology giant has launched it Samsung Galaxy On6 smartphone in India. The latest model in Samsung Galaxy On series features an Infinity Display and is said to come with 15% more display area with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

Samsung Galaxy On6 smartphone is priced at Rs 14,490. At the given price, Samsung’s latest smartphone competes with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the recently launched Moto G6. It can be bought from Flipkart and Samsung’s Online Shop starting July 5.
There are some launch offers that the company has announced for those who will buy the Samsung Galaxy On 6. Jio customers buying the phone will get a cashback of Rs 2,750 in their MyJio account. However, they must get recharges done of Rs 198 and Rs 299 packs.
Furthermore, Reliance Jio customers can get a Double Data benefit on their first four recharges of Rs 198 or more. Other offers include getting a complete mobile protection plan at Rs 49, exchange offers and no cost EMI starting at Rs 1,610.
Specifications
Before we talk about the specifications of the smartphone, we’ll speak about the features that are being touted by Samsung. The smartphone comes with a ‘Chat Over Video’ feature that offers a translucent chat screen so that users can watch videos and chat with their contacts at the same time. Samsung Galaxy On6 also comes with My Galaxy Video app which has curated videos from content creators. Also, it has the Samsung Pay Mini.
Samsung Galaxy On6 sports a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display and like we mentioned earlier, it comes with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo skinned with Samsung Experience UX and is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM. The smartphone has 32GB of internal storage and can hold microSD cards of up to 256GB.
For imaging duties, the smartphone by Samsung comes with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera. The rear camera has support for features like Animated GIF, Beauty Face, Face Detection, HDR, Panorama and more. The selfie camera supports Face Unlock.
Samsung Galaxy On6 houses a 3,000mAH battery and comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back. Connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
