Samsung is all prepped up to announce this year’s first smartphone in the Indian market. The launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G in India is scheduled for today. To recall, the Fan edition of the company’s current flagship series made its global premiere in the US, UK and Europe is now ready to make its way to the Indian market. 

Ahead of the announcement the device is already up for pre-orders while the sale is expected to kickstart from tomorrow. The smartphone features a 120Hz AMOLED display and an elevated rear camera module with three back cameras.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be released in India on January 10th that is today. The smartphone has been listed on Amazon, and pre-registrations are already open in the nation, with sales set to begin on January 11. The device is available for pre-order for Rs 999 via the Samsung India eStore and the Samsung Shop app.

The company has not yet revealed the pricing yet but the upcoming handset’s pricing in India is expected to start at Rs 52,000, with prices ranging from Rs 48,000 to Rs 49,000.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is available in the UK for EUR 699 (about Rs 70,200) for the 128GB storage model and EUR 749 (approx Rs 75,200) for the 256GB storage variant. The phone will be available in the following colours: Graphite, Lavender, Olive, and White.

On the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Android 12 is installed with One UI 4 on top. It has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. The phone comes with an octa-core SoC and up to 8GB of RAM. 

The new smartphone has a storage capacity of up to 256GB. The phone also includes a fingerprint sensor embedded in the touchscreen. It’s also built to IP68 standards, which means it can withstand dust and water to some extent.

The triple rear camera configuration on the Galaxy S21 FE 5G has a 12-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. A 32-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture is included for selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy S21 FE 5G comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W cable charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone also includes Samsung’s Wireless PowerShare technology, which allows you to charge other devices from a distance.

5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port are all available connectivity choices. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyro, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the onboard sensors.
