A lot of rumours are surfacing online giving out details about the successor of Samsung Galaxy S20 that is reportedly being called the Galaxy S21. The latest leak reveals that the Galaxy S21 Ultra device, which will be launched in the first half of next year, is likely to come with an S Pen.
A news report by The Elec Korea, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra variant will come with an S Pen. The S21 lineup is expected in the first half of next year. On the other hand, the report has revealed that the regular Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus will not carry a stylus. Furthermore, the codename of Samsung Galaxy S21 is “Unbound” that comes with variants: M1, N2, and O3. The report added that the S Pen will likely to come with the O3 variant. Mind you! Samsung has not yet confirmed the official launch timing of the Galaxy Note21.
In addition, Samsung is likely to replace the Galaxy Note series by rolling out what is being dubbed as the S Pen-enabled Galaxy Z Fold 3 device. On a general basis, the Galaxy Note series sells about 10 million units by the end of the same year after launching in the third quarter. However, sales of the Galaxy Z Fold series have not yet reached this level. The first-generation Galaxy Fold products launched in September 2019 recorded a cumulative sales of 1 million units in the early first quarter of the period under review.
Samsung further plans to increase Ultra New Glass (UTG) production from 600,000 to 700,000 units per month to reach the limit of 1 million units per month by the end of the year. However, even assuming that UTG production is increased to 1 million units every month and sales for 6 months, the sales of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 are only 6 million units. It is 4 million less than the sales of the Galaxy Note series.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s latest Note series transforms the way you work – empowering you to do more anytime from anywhere – with the help of the new S Pen and Samsung Notes features. The S Pen on the Galaxy Note20 series has more lifelike precision that gives you more accuracy and responsiveness. The S Pen’s five new Anywhere Actions make touchless navigation of your device – like returning to the home screen or taking a screenshot – as simple as a flick of the wrist.
